Hello, Knucklehead!
Hope you're well. I wasn't planning on putting out a newsletter this week. I'm busy with some other projects (to be revealed soon…). Plus, with all the heavy news this week, it just didn't seem appropriate to be cracking jokes.

Then, yesterday morning, an idea came to me. So I put pushed my Saturday plans aside to draw it for you. Don't worry — it's not really funny. More from the heart. Hope you like it.

I've been seeing a lot about Tetris in my feeds this week as folks search for ways to cope with the awful images being shown online and in the news.

Apparently "The Tetris Effect" is a real thing. Playing regularly has a number of benefits — from increased problem-solving abilities to trauma reduction. Just how effective it is kinda murky. But hey — there's worse ways to deal with stress, right?

I'll admit, I've been playing lately. If you want to try it out, I suggest skipping all the apps in the App Store (they're all choked with ads) and instead play on a free website like this one. Hope it helps.

Every time I post this strip, someone in the comments points out that waffles have eggs in them. So the Egg is technically a cannibal. To which, I rub their head gently and whisper "shhhh. you're overthinking it."
